Go to somewhere like http://imageshack.us/ and upload your picture / screenshot (its free). Copy and paste the link they provide here in your message. I hope that makes sense, you'll soon get the hang of it.

It makes sense but I am simply not up to being able to make it work thanks. I ended up with a screenshot image that would need to be viewed through a microscope and cannot find any way to get a link from imageshack to even post that useless image to a thread. I am just too old to make it happen I guess. I just wish I could upload a word document I created with the screenshot in it straight to FT or simply paste the screenshot into my post. Thanks for the advice though.

What browser are you using? Firefox have a add-on called Fireshot that lets you capture a screenshot, save it and paste it anywhere (forums etc)

ImageShack was great in the past, but they're becoming more and more restrictive in terms of what you can do without creating an account.

Imgur's where it's at in 2013.

1- Hit print screen
2- Open Paint
3- Paste
4- Save
5- Upload to tinypic.com (imageshack is slow, sluggish. Not recommended)
6- You get the [img] [/img] link

You could use Snipping Tool for 1-4
