MXP-JFK miles query
 

I checked to see how many tier miles a flex J fare MXP-JFK return would be and the miles calculator says 13126 - I think it should be 13125, but let's not quibble over rounding errors :). However when I checked the flex J fare JFK-MXP return, it says 29750, which is much more appealing...

Does anyone know if this is just an error with the calculator or would we get 29750 miles for doing the same route but starting in JFK?

Those rates are based on flying though Dubai to get there. The actual earnings rates are around 4,000 each way plus a 75% bonus.
