Jetblue: How to check availability

I requested a jetblue award flight through the Skywards webpage. I got a quick reply saying the flight I wanted is not available. I replied to the email I got and said if that flight is available on any other Sunday in a 3 month time frame. I have never heard back again.

Is there a way I can check myself if a Jetblue flight is available as an EK award flight. I don't want to fill in the form for every possible date.

Thanks for your input

I recently did this simply by calling up the Emirates in the US and using the Skywards agent to book an award JFK-BOS... I asked about various dates and times and the agent was happy to oblige and the booking was completed and confirmation emailed within minutes.
Good Luck.

Thansk for sharing your experience. I'll do the same. How mcuh do they charge in taxes and fees?

I had redeemed Skywards points for JetBlue a few weeks ago, for travel next month. This is how I would recommend going about it:

- Come up with a list of flight numbers and alternatives for the dates you would like to be booked on.
- Call Emirates (on their 1800 number from the US), and give them those flight numbers until you find one which is available.

You are charged per sector, so JFK-BOS-PIT cost me 9000+7500 miles. A little more than what I would have liked to spend, but the miles were expiring anyway.

Taxes and fees were around $16 per sector.

Additionally, try to get the agent to enter the TSA information online right after the booking is confirmed. I am having issues with that currently - JetBlue does not let you access the reservation online if the ticket is on Emirates stock, so you might have to call them for a confirmation as well.

For OW JFK-BOS total tax and fees were just shy of $3 (yes three) for my booking. I would agree with Xlr in that the confirmation skywards sends you has a PNR for JetBlue but I could not use it to 'Manage my booking' on Jetblue.com but they also provided an EK PNR which did work on emirates.com. I had to call JetBlue to request my seat and asked them to email me a JetBlue confirmation just in case.
