Upgrading Flight
 

Hi everyone, can someone teach me how to upgrade a single person flight only out of a booking reference number? The booking reference number consists of 3 person. In the upgrade section, I can just choose the flight I want to upgrade but in that single flight, it is the flight of 3 person. That's mean if I want to upgrade, I need to upgrade all 3 person. There is no other option for me to choose which person I want to upgrade. Can someone teach me how to just choose one person instead of the auto 3 person upgrade in the upgrade section? Thank you.

You need to split the booking into two separate PNR (booking reference) and then upgrade the single passenger alone. Call EK at your location and they will do it in two minutes and process the upgrade for you if you want

is it possible to have emirates to have a sudden increase in upgrade seat availability during november? All the flights that I book do not have any upgrade availability except for one but i do not intend to upgrade that flight because the chaffeur drive offered during that flight will not be utilised by me if i were to upgrade that flight. I would like to upgrade a flight that I can utilise the chaffeur drive and not to say my points are expiring this month too. 4 days left. T.T any other alternative? will calling emirates centre allows them to offer an upgrade for me? thank you.

If the points are expiring this month, then better to use them on that flight than have them go to waste. Calling will not provide any more availability

It is unlikely I suggest that a swathe of availability for november will open up in next 3 days, though if it did, you could change the upgrade to a different flight

do you mean even after i upgrade that flight, I still can cancel that upgrade and change it to other flight in the future?
