I think you may have been caught up by the problems with the website changes.

None of the LHR flights that ukdoctor has posted were showing as available when I read your post referring to the date change this morning, but I can see them now.

At the moment the dates I changed to in September are just provisional as I don't know exact dates I can get off work that far ahead unfortunately. That is one problem with my job in that I tend to have to book flights up with around a month before I need to fly.

I did check availability when I changed dates. I asked the girl in the Emirates Jakarta office if any days around the second week of September had upgradable seats and she said they're all full, so for now just plumbed for 11th Sept. As you say, perhaps Emirates booking system is still having a few issues. I'll call them up again next week and see.
