Arrival facilities CDG

Hello

I am flying DXB-CDG tonight in C. From what I understand, there is no arrival lounge in CDG, any advice on how to freshen up before a meeting (I have 30min to do so)?

Also, I have booked a chauffeur service. Do you know where the person will be waiting (exit or before that?) + if he/she can wait for me to freshen up?

Thanks a lot

I guess that is not a cheap upgrade :) I have 0 EK miles so this is not an option unless someone feels generous and wants to upgrade my booking (PM me in that case ;))

When you are checking in, ask the agent if there are any 'paid' upgrades available/ how much would it cost to just upgrade the DXB-CDG leg. If F isn't half-full, they might be offering discounted upgrades. Take a call then.

:) maybe waiting awhile for that to happen. Just ask for a whole tray of hot towels and have a bed/seat bath like in hospital :D

On a more serious note, has someone experience regarding the chauffeur. Where will he be waiting? I am sure I will forget to ask on the plane...

I haven't used the chauffeur drive at CDG per se but I've used it at several other places and the way it works is fairly similar.

After you cross immigration and collect your bags and begin to head towards the exit, you'll notice a signboard with the words "Emirates Chauffeur Drive". There will be a uniformed EK staff there who will guide you to your car/ ask you to wait while he will call the driver for your car. They have your contact details and I've found that if you get delayed, they will try calling you on your cell.

I assume you have booked a chauffeur drive either through the website or by calling EK - unless you book the chauffeur drive in advance, it won't be offered to you.

Too late to help you but in case others are wondering it works like this at CDG. Once you exit customs you climb up a short flight of stairs to your right and the drivers are all there with individual Emirates boards with names on them.

If you're arriving in CDG in the morning, that is on a 77W and not an A380 anyway.

Unrelated question but about DXB-CDG nonetheless. Does the 9am departure from DXB have lunch or breakfast onboard in F?

The morning A380 flight has continental Breakfast and Lunch service. Same as EK001.

Thanks - The info I have on hand is that it is breakfast in the lounge and lunch on board. Really looking forward to the caviar - if I have to eat another breakfast on EK F I will puke!
