Are things on track for the phasing out of the remaining A340-300s? How many A330s will leave the fleet this year?

What remaining?? till yesterday, all 8 A340-300 were flying for EK.....

But I guess 4 A340-300 and 4 A330-200 will leave the fleet this year..but things changes very fast....the A340-300 were suposed to leave a long time ago, but they are still around.....

Sure a lot of new planes are joining the fleet, but at the same time EK is increasing frequencies and starting new destinations....

All eight 343s were going to be taken out of the fleet this year until the 380 wing fix issue. EK will leave four 343s because four 380s will be fixed at a time. 77Ws will replace missing 380 services, and 343s, or some other airframe will take over thinner 77W routes, and so on, and so on until the 380 issue is complete. This way the route expansion can continue as planned.

Currently, the A343s are planned for Cape Town (twice daily), Phuket (daily), Dakar (4 weekly) and Tripoli (4 weekly). EK will need 5 aircraft to operate this schedule.

The second B77W for 2013 will be A6-ENF and has rolled out fully painted at PAE. Both A6-ENE and A6-ENF are testing awaiting delivery now:

With A6-ENE delivered, A6-ENF is next up and should leave PAE in the next couple of days. Meanwhile A6-ENG has rolled out and has made her first flight already.

It seems that A6-ENE has a 8F 42C Y310 cabin configuration...I thought she would have a C42 Y386 cabin configuration like A6-ENA to END....
