Upgrading, miles and changing flights...
 
Hi,
We are about to book a flexi-ticket for SYD-MAN. We have enough miles each to upgrade to business all the way, one way. My question is, if we use miles to upgrade and then have to change the outward date, do we lose our miles, or are they transferable?

You don't loose the miles, they will credit back to your account unless they have expired in the interim

If the new dates have availability you won't need to credit them back. But the original ticket conditions apply.
BTW it's a Flex fare with EK not Flexi :)
