Current fleet numbers:
A380 - 119 total
- 28 equipped with Premium Economy. Retrofit to other frames in progress.
- Typically, between 85 and 90 aircraft are in service at any given time.
- Premium Economy retrofit programme expected to start in Q2-Q3 2024.
- 9 aircraft in service. 1 stored at DWC due to lease/ownership issue.

Anyone know the type for the options? 777-8/9 or 787-10? I highly doubt that EK would pick up any new 77W when 777X is just a couple years away, unless said 77W was at a crazy steep discount.

Don't think it means they get to choose an alternative type. Just that they get to choose at a later stage what to do with these

After a long break, Boeing 777-200LR (A6-EWE) has returned to service with the new 2-class cabin layout.
Meanwhile A6-EWF has entered maintenance for new cabin fitting, and will return to service in approximately 35 days.
This leaves A6-EWG as the last -200LR in the old 3-class configuration.
