The new services to Jeddah will come into effect from 1st June and to Riyadh from 1st August.

Emirates increases flights to KSA

Both Emirates and Saudi Airlines tend to run their planes quite full on those routes during the weekend in KSA with people leaving the county on Wednesday/Thursday and coming back Friday/Saturday :-)

The demand is certainly there, with decent competition from Saudia, NAS, and Air Arabia to SHJ. This is a cash cow for EK and they don't try particularly hard. Having flown them all, I'd put EK in 4th place for quality :eek:
