Weekend surcharge
 
I noticed recently the £35 weekend departure surcharge from UK airports has dropped to £20.

Are there any other markets which impose a surcharge depending on which day of the week you want to travel? If so, how much and what days?

I noticed from SEA in Sept (return in Dec) on a RT ticket there was only Y class available on Saturdays, which raised the RT fare by $2000. I don't know if this was just a temporary fluke, but seemed like crazy pricing.

There are some fares out of SIN which have a weekend surcharge too.

Flights from Germany have a weekend surcharge too = 30 Euro.

Really? A Weekend surcharge in UK. I did not know that. What are the rates and for what days? Might help when i plan trips. Does it differ from airport to airport. If so then whats the rate for BHX.

The rates are as per post #1 and are applicable on Fridays and Saturdays. I believe all UK airports are the same.
