They're facebook page just became active and have a quiz to start off (perhaps a free flight - or me just dreaming). But all in all, good to see Emirates taking this 'social media' thing serious... finally.

Like the timeline

They took social media very seriously when they invited us FT'ers to their crew training faciliies last year.

Facebook has a more mass audience, and it's safe to assume that people have on average less technical knowledge than us here.

Plus - I like how their facebook page doesn't involve adding an app or anything.

The page has been around a while. It didn't have anything on it at all except the logo though. And yeah it had >100k likes already..

Once the facebook page matures a bit, all they have to go is mention it on the website and the likes should jump up.
