I could book business travel for May, but my flights through July are all booked courtesy of the fare sale in December/January. Sadly, I don't have anything for April in any case.
I also have a low fare (about 10% less than EK) for CCU-LAX R/T in J purchased on SQ. They are better than EK in just about every way, but usually they are too expensive for me.

Well, the more that its shouted about, the sooner it will go perhaps then. I believe that the logic is that the system has bizarrely gone for basing it around needing to go via Dubai rather than directly

Tickets can be booked through any channel to be eligible for double Miles.
Tickets must be purchased online at emirates.com to qualify for the 2,000 bonus Miles online purchase element of the offer.
Members must provide a valid Skywards membership number with their booking.
You just need to log into your skywards account, go to news and offers -> special offers , click on Double bonus Miles when you fly First or Business Class in May and then opt in

Timing is a shame from my purely selfish point of view. I have South Asia business class travel in April and June that a promo would have swayed me to use EK for. Plus EK travel in May, though on an award ticket. Oh well.
