An as yet un-named carrier has had cracks reported in the wings of one of its A380's.

Apparently Reuters says 7 of EK's A380s would need to be inspected.

If the deliveries are in order of C/N then it might impact the ultra long haul flying of the 380 since 5 of the first 7 all have the crew rest quarters for ultra long haul flights. However this might not be the case since the C/Ns don't always go in order, but should be interesting to see!

You won't get me flying one. Nor a 787 (of course, to the pedants, not an EK one). Good luck to everyone else though.

Done the A380 a couple times, I'm quite surprised by this as it's all been perfect so far.

I certainly would hope that I survive on my J flight from AKL to SYD in 7 days!
