Seat pitch in Y on the 77W

Back in September I flew from Melbourne to Amsterdam return with EK in Y on the 77W.

I was of the understanding that EK had a 34 inch pitch. However it didn't feel like it, but I put this down to the slightly more tight seating arrangement due to the 10 abreast layout.

I was seated in the middle block of 4, on the isle - ie. a D seat.

Does the set of 3 seats near the window have the same pitch?

Also do any particular rows have a larger pitch - with the exception of the ones out the back where there are two seats together?

I did appreciate the relative ease with which I was able to snare an exit row on check in on the return flight.

Am planning to do this trip again in April, and looking to get a row with good legroom.

Thanks.

You're right! EK now has introduced 32" seat pitch in Economy on all their B77W with suites, which is now a standard on many of their other aircraft types, including A340, A380 and A332. Only a few older B773 and B772 still has 33-34" pitch.
