Smile

This why Business class should be made into economy class... First class into business class and then a new first class to be reinvented! Everyone happy! And no problems when it comes to reclining!

Bloody hell, the Aussie press are as bad as the British!

The 'fight' was actually an 'altercation' in which both men were not charged. No punches were thrown. Just an argument over somebody reclining during meal time.

Sounds like the flight I was on a couple of years ago from LHR-DXB. That got a bit more physical. I reported it on here I think.

Actually, EK got off lightly. If this happened on a QF flight, there would be a parliamentary enquiry, full page spreads, glaring headlines and a lot of women with short hair cuts waving their arms in total outrage etc.

And agreed with your comments above. You'd think if you were going to have a ding dong, you'd at least let one rip. What's wrong with young people nowadays??? Doesn't anyone know how to land a decent punch anymore...

I guess this is why some airlines use seats that slide forward instead. Like CX and NH on the 787
I really hate those kinds of seats. As you end up having less leg room after slouching forward.

And why some airlines use seats that don't recline. At all. Of course, they still have exit row seating.

Or maybe we could all force our parents/ employer/ children/ neighbor to pay for J tickets.

Something similar occurred on LH411(Y,JFK-MUC) last month.
A elderly man reclines his seat 60%, and the women behind(around 20) with her seat fully reclined! starts shouting at the man. The crew handled it well though.

Shame how people are so self-conscious today.

Yeah, I don't see any arrested to against those 2 gentlemen during in-flight. I don't see what happened on the flight. There is no filed charge against 2 gentlemen.
