sequence numbers
Sequence number on bp finally of some use. I landed up at the gate in MCT (in transit) with a mobile bp that the machine wouldn't read. The agent was up in arms, as if I'd walked out on her daughter 5 minutes before the wedding (departure time). Anyway she located me using the sequence number. I guess she could have used the seat number or name, but this is a unique identifier, so I guess that's why it exists.
But then I got to the bus gate where they wanted to see a paper bp and want me to wait to board with First. The suffering I have to endure! |

Ung1, don't try and get fancy with technology in this part of the world. It can only end up with massive confusion and chaos.
Did you try doing that at BLR as well. Would have confused the security guys.:D:D:D |

Just wondering - did you have a screen protector of some sort? Maybe the different optical properties of a screen protector (or any sort of smartphone glass, to be honest) screwed up the signal the barcode reader was expecting..
It's probably okay for local travel, for example the gatwick express. I wouldn't count on them for international travel though. |
