Luggage tags
 

Hi all,

Do any of you ever use your Emirates silver/gold luggage tags? Why or why not? I only use them for carry on, but whenever I check in luggage I never put them on.

I dont put them on the checked in bags either. I dont want to cause any unnecessary temptation to baggage handlers.

I put them on my checked in luggage. Helps me ID my luggage quicker on the carousel. (Not sure why your FF status would make your gear more attractive. Surely a frequent traveller is a cannier traveller, no?)

Luggage tags on your carry on is pointless, and a little pretentious IMHO.

You mean EK actually sends out tags and cards? Who knew....

I've always like luggage tags on my carry on. Especially the yellow FT tag. Makes it easier to spot a fellow FT'er...and strike up a conversation ;)

Unless it serves a purpose, wherever it looks good. Flyertalk always goes on carry on though.

The only time I've had my luggage interfered with(inspite of up to a
100 flights a year) was soon after I put my shiny new gold tags.

Never again!!! I might just have been unlucky that one time. I put the FT tag on the carry on Just so that we can recognise each other.

Where can you get FT luggage tags? Can't find them in the merchandise section.

I like the red tags available in the premium lobby at Dubai...

The red tags are also available in the regular lobby and at every check-in counter throughout the system. :)

Yes those red tags are amazing and last years.

I haven't had the misfortune to fly in coach on EK yet :p so I wouldn't know what the non-premium lines/lobbies look like.
