anybody got any idea why prices for flights from Germany to Sri Lanka for all of october have gone through the roof (starting from € 6.000.- in Business Class; was more like € 3.000.- last week) ???

It may have just been a glitch on ek.com. I tried a dummy booking, outbound 10th Oct and return 24th Oct, the fare came back at EUR 2968.93 (flex).

Emirates booking engine has the habit of giving me rude shocks
Once in a while. Last week LGW DEL was showing up as
£7900 !!! For a return J ticket.

Tried after a while and it was under £1800 as it normally is.
