Meals on wheels

I have a 11 pm flight from jfk to dxb (a380).

Whats the meal schedule? Breakfast and lunch or would dinner also be served?

Most likely lunch first and then breakfast and maybe some snacks. Depending on your travel class you may get more beverage/food.

Cheers,

EK433B77W.

I'm pretty sure I got dinner when I did this flight in Y. Although it was in 2007...

thanks, makes sense - else either they have to wake up pax in the middle of the night or have a first meal 7/8 hrs in the flight

btw wonder y the OP chose to title the thread "meals on wheels"? (the rhyme?)

My apologies all, I have got the departure times 12hrs apart. :P

So, it should be Dinner and then Breakfast (just before landing in DXB) about 3-2 hrs before I'd say.

Cheers,

EK433B77W. ^

This flight arrives in DXB at 1945 hrs, so they will probably serve lunch a few hours before landing, and a snack in the middle of the flight.

Haha. Fact is, no matter what meals you eat on that flight, you're going to end up in DXB very very jetlagged!

Dinner, mid-flight snack and breakfast are the meals.

Dinner immediately post departure.

Mid-flight snack is about halfway through the flight.

Breakfast about 2 hours prior to arrival (yes, I know it is afternoon DXB time by then but that is what they serve!).

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 3:19 pm.
