PS - got my exit row on the way out, now to cross the fingers for tomorrow

I just came back from BKK the other day - I was disappointed to see expert flyer had wide open availability in Y. Then I got to the airport (for 385) and it was chaos, queues stretching all the way down where Y check in snakes in at T back towards the middle of the entrance to the S block. op-up ensued :D

I actually got one of those upgrade for a special price emails for my flight on the 4th - but now changed the flight to the 3rd :rolleyes:

Keeping fingers crossed for my Shanghai trip, our travel company said there were no seats available (in Y), so asked them to call Emirates to ask about the guaranteed seat option. Got a seat.

We are flying tonight to BKK, Expertflyer showing lots of availability but also had the upgrade e-mail for $800. Fingers crossed EF is teling porkies and there will an upgrade, won't hold my breath mind

Has someone tried already the new lounge "LOUNGE AT B"?

The EK lounges in Concourse B have been there since the Concourse opened.

There have been some areas undergoing refurbishment recently, are these what you mean by the "new lounge"?

it was rubbish last week when I passed through from CMB to NBO
