Marhaba Lounge T3

Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong thread.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with Marhaba lounge in T3 Dubai? I've had plenty of experiences with the Emirates business class lounge but as i'm travelling on Cattle class on my next journey, I will have to make do with the marhaba lounge.

How well does it compare? Does it have shower facility?

Cheers

I presume you have Priority Pass (I do).

I've been in this lounge many times. It's nicer than the EK C class lounge, and not nearly as crowded, with (obviously) better food/refreshments. Having said that, it can still get quite crowded at busy times.

You could also try the Marhaba lounge in T1 which is quite quaint.

I don't agree that it is nicer but yes less crowded and well stocked with food and drinks. Comfortable but small.

Been to both T1 and T3, I would not suggest the T1 lounge where you wont find a single seat over there. That's because other airlines are travelling from T1 so everybody is in there.

T3 is always good and even though it's small, I believe it's better than the T3 lounge (in terms of capacity), though I don't believe both lounges have shower facilities.

The food in T1 is exactly the same in the T1 biz class lounge. But never had the oppurtunity to compare the food in T3.

You can always get in there using a credit card, I never used my Priority Pass to get in there, Only my credit card.

Do they have showers in the Marhaba Lounge's?

Also how much do you pay to get in?

No they don't have showers, you need to pay 45 USD per passenger for 4 hours.

Unless you have a major credit card.

I've recently contacted The Marhaba Lounge to confirm that I would get free entry with my Platinum Mastercard and whether this included free access for my wife.
The reply was that I would indeed receive free entry as would a maximum of 2 children under 12yrs. My wife would be charged 70aed paying by card. Hope this helps in some way.

Kind Regards

Jim

Hello, I'm a newbie at FT. Does anyone know if the Marhaba lounge still offers free entry with Platinum Mastercards? Also, is it only limited to Mastercards issued in the UAE, or is it worldwide Platinum Mastercards from any bank?

I used the T3 lounge last week. Save your money. It is open to the concourse below and very noisy. Chairs not comfortable to nap in. Facilities poor standard. There has to be another option in that airport.

I was off flight from Amman at 2135 and connecting to Bangkok at 2300 and was starving. Decided to make a quick dash to Marhaba lounge in T3 for a meal (with my Priority Pass). Managed to have something warm and decent before going off to my Bangkok gate. Marhaba T3 much better environment than that in T1, with plenty of seats available at that time.

Still valid, but it is technically limited to cards issued in ME and Africa. I recommend using a MC card that clearly says Platinum (or whatever is allowed at the website I link to) on the front and is from a bank with branches in the region (Barclay/HSBC/Citi/etc.). I would not use most other US Banks or card issuers (no BofA, Chase, Capital One, etc.). If you are turned away, sorry.

Looks a bit expanded from the last time I looked at this program. I wish they had anything like this for Europe (ha).

Since I am losing my HSBC US cards, this may not be as available in the future.
