Gold before Gold
 
Will Emirates grant you Gold before you travel the flights needed to hit the 50k mark?

I travel mostly inter GCC on F only more recently and have been racking up the millage quite quickly.

I am 7k away and will hit it most likely next month. Any ideas of who to contact? The silver desk told me tough cookies...

Why can't you wait one more month to get Gold - if you mostly travel F anyway, there is not much changing with Gold for you...

I did request to get the Gold and became Gold before I was hitting the 50k mark. I sent an email showing my past month's travel pattern and complimented it with my future travel pattern.

A week later or so I received an email that I was granted Gold.

I travel with about 75 kilos of test equipment so the extra weight allowance and the gold desk would come in handy.

When I travel for pleasure (out of my pocket) I travel down back usually... It would be nice for an OP-UP every once in a while.

I emailed to the skywards gold email address which I don't have handy at the moment. Can anyone help?
