Change of Destination from ACC to LHR ?

I booked a return flight from ACC to BOM on Emirates but I Just realize I have to go to LHR for a couple of weeks for work and am wondering if is possible to Change the Destination or I just will have to Cancel it and make a new reservation ?

Seems to be possible. I tried a multi city itinerary and got ACC-BOM-LHR-ACC for USD 1400.

I don't know if you can make that change to your existing ticket, but it's certainly a valid fare. Though it may be cheaper to buy a separate BOM-LHR.

I was thinking I would just get a return to from BOM to LHR and then purchuse a new one ticket to ACC from LHR ?

That's going to be a lot more expensive as several one ways. It's cheaper to fly BOM-LHR-BOM and use the return leg of your BOM-ACC.

Though if you're not paying for it and time is more valuable than money, yea, that makes sense.

So with the 1400 USD am I going to pay the difference from the price I paid from the ACC to BOM return ? or I have to pay all the 1400 USD. Time is very important in this case

Technically you should pay the fare difference and whatever change fee applies to your ticket. But I don't know whether you're allowed to do this sort of an itinerary on your ticket. I'd suggest calling up Emirates - that's the easiest way to find out.

Also, if you do these routes often enough, you can leave the return legs hanging for later use. Just needs some careful planning.

ETA: And if time is of the essence, perhaps a BOM-LHR-ACC on BA would make better sense than EK?
