date change

Hi,

I am booked LHR-DBX-DEL on emirates.com and I wanted to change my date of departure. I was told there is a fee of 75gbp to make a date change as they would have to re issue the ticket. Is this true?

Is there any way I can change my date of travel without a charge as the date I am looking at is the same price as the date I am traveling on at the momment.

Thank you.

This depends on your fare class. Most tickets ex-UK/EU have a 75 GBP/EUR change fee that cannot be avoided under any circumstances.

See how much is to cancel the ticket, if it's less than 75 GBP then book the trip that you want since it's at the same price and then cancel the old one.

Why did you create a new thread when you'd already posted in the date change topic?

I am confused as I keep on hearing different things when I call the emirates customer service line. They have told me it is 75gbp once, yesterday they told me it was 50 gbp for a change before departure and a free change after I have departed. I wanted to change my return date they told me I should change it after I have departed for a free change plus any fare difference. So I am confused as to what their policy is to date changes. Someone care to shine some light. Thanks :D

My apologies for posting in 2 threads.

Can you post your fare rules here, or tell us what fare bucket on LHR-DEL you're on?
