Paid upgrade question
 

Hi,
I am flying NBO to DXB in Y this week, 2 days ago I received an e-mail from EK stating that for a 231 US dollar I will be able to upgrade to J. It looks like a good deal to me, what do the rest of you think? Last time I got an upgrade offer I did not use it, and I got upgraded anyway. So what do you think, should I not use it or should I? Thanks for your advice.

These offers only give miles as per the original booking, not the upgraded one.

I prefer the A332's Y seats over their utterly unconformable J seats. Keep the cash in your pocked and spend it on something more worthwhile. :)
