Purchasing tickets in Malaysia?
 

Hi again,

I've noticed EK fares on the EK website from Malaysia to Australia are considerably higher than from Australia to Malaysia, which is odd as tickets originating in Oz are usually much more expensive.

Any ideas if better ex-Malaysia deals exist?

Yes but you gotta go thru local travel agents.

Same with Singapore. If you ticket out of SIN to Aus, the fares are roughly 20% cheaper than if you do it out of MEL or SYD (to SIN).
