A few other points I was not aware of:
Y passengers who are not Skywards members appear to be able to buy lounge access. I was under the impression that only members could buy access (of course one can join at the lounge, but still..).
It appears you can't pay $200 to get F lounge access if you have no J lounge privileges: neither Y nor Blue members can buy F lounge access according to this table.

Interestingly enough the page does not explicitly say that guests have to be on the same flight, it only says "paid guests" have to be on the same flight?... hmmmmm
