Missing Miles
 

Here is the story,

Bought two tickets:
a- Ticket from CBR to CMB via MEL (1st leg is interlined with DJ) and SIN.
b- Ticket from CMB to BAH via DXB

The reason I didn't buy a direct flight is that I needed to help my pregnant wife with the kids fly from CMB. However, the DJ flight was delayed and I couldn't take my flights as planned. So EK staff at MEL combined both tickets and put me on the next direct flight to DXB and from there to BAH. Consequently, my wife canceled her plans.

Now it has been two weeks since the trip and no miles have been credited. I already complained and all I was told was that it has been referred to a special department (Scotland Yard) for further investigations.

Has anyone been in similar situations?

Scotland Yard? Thats the HQ for the Met Police in London. I highly doubt its been refferred there unless you meant it as a joke...

Did you not have any travel insurance as in this sort of situation, your travel insurance may kick in and reimburse you.
