No Chauffer Drive
 

We've paid for business class from Sydney to UK, and when we've rang to book chauffer drive to Sydney airport, we're told that we can't book this due to the fare paid. We can have one in the UK only. Has anyone come across this before?

No I have not had that. Have been able to book a chauffeur even when I've used points to upgrade to Business.

Have you tried making the booking online, or perhaps try ringing again and get an operator who knows what they're talking about.

I have never had this problem with award tickets/upgrades/cheap business ticket

+1 on the online booking, you should see both your locations available for booking.

you were given false information if you were denied chauffeur drive at Sydney. whether paid business or first or upgraded with miles, this is available to you. period.

This has come up before in relation to Chauffeur drive in OZ. See the thread here.

I seem to recall there was at some point also a question about there being no Chauffeur drive available if the ticket was booked as part of an Emirates Tours package. . .

Don't know if any of that is relevant to this case though?

IIRC some 'special' ex UK fares (tour packages and, I believe, 2 for 1 specials, though I may be wrong) excluded the chauffeur drive service.

To date these have been the only fares that do not include the service.
