Another Which Seat Thread - First Time A380

Hello!

I would really appreciate your valuable thread

I'm flying the following route;

MAN > LHR (flyBMI)

LHR > DXB (EK002 A380)

DXB > KUL (EK408 A340-500)

KUL > DXB (EK343 B777)

DXB > MAN (EK019 B777)

I would like some recommendations for seats on the A380 & A340-500 in economy, probably doesn't make much difference but I would like to see the engines from the window, seatguru however suggests that the A340 window seat does not provide as much leg room as compared to the aisle seat due to the entertainment module.

Thanks for your help guys,

Imran

Hi Imran,

Since noboby else has replied for you.

On the A380 in economy the best seats if they are still available under manage my booking are IMHO 68A,68K,81A and 81K, they all give near unlimited legroom, with a view over the wing in the 68's.

Sorry can't help you on the A340-500, as I've never flown on it.

Have a nice trip, happy flying.

Best Regards

Thank you very very much for your help, booked 68K for the A380 and picked the others too. Appreciate the reply!

i notice 61 & 81 A,K are seats with the extra leg-room but reduced seat width.

(if possibe) are there any other recommended seats on the A380 that dont compensate on the seat width?

thanks in advance:)

is the reduced seat width greatly noticeable?

http://www.seatplans.com/airlines/Em...sses/Economy-4 just check seatplans.com for choosing the right seat...
On the left panel under "All Emirates seat plans" choose your type of plane. Enjoy

I have flown the Emirates A380 in 68K and thought it was a great seat and did not appreciate any reduction in seat width. I don't think it would be an issue unless you are a big (wide!) and the limitless leg room can't be beat unless you really like having a seat in front of you to stash items under during take-off and landing.
