$400 return MEL-SIN on expedia
 

So just went to Expedia and I can pull up $400 return tickets from Mel to Sin for certain days in November.

Change some of the days and goes up to $1500!

Yeah. Paulnick pointed this out in response to my Mileage Run request thread.
Valid for some Oct & Nov dates, 3 night minimum stay and Hey Presto, 7500 tier points. Might just be Emirates subtle response to Singapore Airlines introduction of the 380 to Melbourne.
But what the heck. A pleasant long weekend AND my Gold neatly achieved.
