Thumbs up ELAL London yet again

Again the London station excels in the service it provides to ELAL passengers, last Thursday (June the 4th) I arrived at the check-in counter at 1500, boarding commences at 1520 for the 316!
I was holding a ticket for the 318. Rami Neger the station manager whom I know, saw me and asked me on which flight I am booked, I answered the 318, he said follow me and took me to security guy and within 3 minutes I passed ELAL security and was issued with a boarding pass for the 316 and was told go to the gate.

Upon arrival at the gate, I was met by Sara and other team members of the station and was whisked to the aircraft. That very special personal service and I have to say unique. The only other station where I had that kind of service is Paris. :-:

The main problem with EL-AL is that if you didnt knew Rami or Sara,
or being a TP, You wouldnt got this...
I am note sure that if a SL or TL would try to do the same 8-)

Just what I was going to answer to this, and very true.
It's all about who you know there, so while it's always nice to hear positive feedback here (considering it is usually the opposite) your experience doesn’t reflect the service any other regular LY passenger would necessarily get.
I used to know head of LY security in London and he was usually there when I checked into my flights, I used to get whizzed through in no time at all, but again that's only because I knew the guy, and so I would never post a thread about how wonderful LY’s service is at LHR just because of that as it doesn’t really reflect their service, but simply the fact that someone there knows me, and so sorted me out.

Gal, were you actually planning on spending five and a half hour in T1 waiting for your flight??

Can't believe Sara is still there by the way...

I am not Gal, But many times, But if i really think i will make it i "fly" to the
airport to catch the earlier flight of the day.
I would even consider taking Y class seat just to be home soon! (But so far
so good, never had to downgrade when arriving earlier...)

This is why its important to be high level in matmid club and to know everyone
(if you are both, then its perfect), In the CDG, if am doing so, I call in advance, notify them, And they will wait for me with the ticket ready, And
security guy that just will do the very basic check (barley 1 minute)
and i will be escorted to the plane (so i dont wait the passport line and etc).
But Again, This is only if the station manager of the day knows me (from the
4 they have, 2 knows me).

Again, Before i got familiar with them, i got a regular "treatment" and wouldnt
dream of 10 minutes from the counter to the seat process.

Now i am doing mostly LAX and the station manager (Dani) is really doing
above and beyond on taking care of me.

Thanks,
Ebzed.

How are the flights to LAX? Is a 16-hour flight bearable?

Hmm, Yes, I do it in C or F, So its bearable, Lucky i manage to sleep on
those flights.
I prefer it rather stopping in nyc and have another flight... i try to escape
airports as much as possible...

Well, If we are going to this kind of discussion, so probably some PLs or TPLs
dont get it as they are not "socialized" with the "native" people... 8-)

Thanks,
EBZED

Thank you for sharing your close friends! 8-)
Now the question are you gold or platinum?, If not
do you get special service from those mentioned above or
treated as regular customer (beyond the "wassup" when you see them).
