Missing flight

Can someone explain this peculiar thing

tomorrow {26 jan.} elal are operating 2 744 services from tlv to jfk, flight ly001 and flight ly007.
But on the return from jfk, thier is no mention of 2 return services, neither on elal's online schedule, or on the flight info for jfk or tlv, and neither on the kvs availability tool, they all only mention one flight, ly008?!
Although on the jfk website they do mention 2 flights, ly002 and ly008.

Does anyone know the meaning of this???
{perhaps it is being operated as a charter service, or they have decided to leave it there as a gift to president obama!}

Odd indeed. Expert Flyer shows the same thing for this week and also next week. Didn't check beyond that.

Fair enough, but if the LY plane goes one way, it needs to come back the other way, no?

Well, not necessarily. They've just had to pay 15.7 M$ fines for a cartel thing, so they might have left the airplane there.

Another option is that the plane returns on a later date, or continues to LAX for a return flight.

(and I could make so many jokes about the fact that they let Moses to be the pilot)

still makes no sense, as on no later date do i see that they have a flight from jfk - tlv, which i do not see comig in from tlv
and regarding lax, lax is always operated br a b777, and this aircraft is a B744

4 weeks ago they transfered a B744 from jfk to detroit, for a charter flight to TLV, antone know if this is the case here?

I guess if you can figure out the tail number you could go to some website and get the flight history which would show where that plane went.

Found answer

I have found the answer!!!!!

Tomorrow {THU. 29 JAN.} they are operating only one flight from TLV.-JFK, whilst from JFK.-tlv. there are 2 flights
This flight must be our lost B744

although it s still intresting that they keep the aircraft sitting at JFK for nearlly 4 days

maybe it went to CDG or LHR?
And picked PAX from there?

Or maybe it was used by David Coperfield for his big illusion:
The vanish of a 747 ?
:)
