flights to Manchester?

With Thomson beginning non stop flights to MAN in November (and London Luton) , has anyone heard anything about EL AL renewing this route?

LY have recently announced their winter schedule and I did not see any mention of Manchester there.

Thomson have now suspended the LTN and MAN routes to TLV, ELAL have jumped for the LTN route, perhaps ELAL will be intrested to take over Manchester too?
Anybody has any info?

As discussed time and time again, no plans at the moment, and I cannot see it happening under present conditions.

The route is now being flown by JET2, which is the only non stop to Manchester.

It is basically a glorified combination of charter and LCC, and flies out of Terminal 1 from TLV.

It's main benefit is that it goes up and it comes down and you don't have to change anywhere, but it is not cheap.

The cheapest bookable one way flight on LS (Jet2) - and I mean the cheapest so you would have to actually have to find a relatively empty flight where these fares are still available- is £113 including taxes and fees, and booked with a debit card, not CC.
This does not include any checked luggage, meals, pre booked seat etc...

I just booked an LS flight for a member of my family for end of Aug.
One way including taxes and a pre booked seat (no meal) worked out £264!

The only reason flying LS is if you are based in the North, so Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, but there would be no point what so ever travelling up from London to take one of their flights.
