Free Flyweb til end of the year!!!!
Apaprently EL AL will offer its FLYWEB service free of charge, from October 2 til Dec 31. On Dec 31, Boeing will stop the internet service.
Since it is Boeing who makes the charge, I guess that all airlines will offer the service free of charge til the end of the year. |

LY has not made decison if it will continue the service, it looks like Panasonic has an answer for any airline still interested in offering interent onboard. http://wifinetnews.com/archives/006973.html |
I know this has been answered somewhere here before, but how many of LY's 777 and 744's have it installed?
I have yet to use it, as all my recent trips have been on smaller planes (767/737). I do have a trip to LHR coming up and was wondering if it would be on board or not. I guess there is no way of knowing until you are actually on the plane? |
All four 744 in LY's fleet have them plus one 777 (ECA).
