Priority Pass Substitute at TLV
Have been using priority pass for 16 years at TLV and was turned away for the first time today as they have stopped accepting that. Any recommendations for other access methods that don’t require payment to get in?

Thank you for your post, it certainly comes as an unpleasant surprise to me. Having checked the PP App it does seem that TLV is no longer an available airport to use lounge facilities. It's a bloody shame as I find the PP a useful standby when not flying business and not on BA metal.
Just checked Dragon Pass and this too seems to have no availability at TLV. Looks like we will only get access when flying business or higher. |
Whats funny to see here is, that when there was the option of the Dan lounge, everyone was complaining about it, but now that the option has gone, everyone is wishing it would have stayed...

I never had a particular criticism of the Dan Lounge, nor did "everyone." The BA "Dan Lounge" is indeed spacious and relatively comfortable. The ones on the other concourses can get busy, but as can every lounge. I never go there for the food, just a last pint on Israeli soil and take a moment to appreciate how lucky I am to have been in Israel once again.
Regarding the BA Dan lounge, I dont think this was in the discussion here, as that has never been open for Priority Pass holders. |
Its not worth paying for.
My Israeli Max credit card offers entry for 30 shekels in exchange for one of my monthly bonuses. Or i can choose a free sandwich and drink at אילנס. |

Dan lounges in B and C concourse are back in Priority Pass.
