PCR Test with Passport Number for entry?????
The ministry of health's website indicates that you need to "Present a negative test result in English that has the traveler's passport number"
We have been unable to find a testing location that can or will add a passport number to the test... Has anyone been able to have this done? If so, where? If not, what have you done? Thanks Jon |
Which city are you referring to?
In NYC it can be done. People report that this is not mandatory only have the name correctly and date of birth. Of course, I wouldn't take a chance and try to get also the passport number on the test. (instead of FIRSTNAME LAST NAME - FIRSTNAME-PASSPORT NUMBER LAST NAME) |
I have had PCR tests for international travel at EWR and at a clinic in Jersey City. In both cases passport number was included. AFAIK, any testing site that deals with international travel will include the passport number.

Flew back from newark twice this past summer. Its only the airline that checks it and they just look for name and birthdate because thats what most of the testing centers print on the test. Its unfortunate that Israel doesnt update their official rules to match the reality.

I traveled to Israel twice and both times my covid test results didn't have a passport number, it's the airlines that check this not the government itself so maybe check with your airline? Will also say that Ministry of Health requirements are kind of all over the place on what actually gets enforced.
