I'm sorry as well - what an awful time.

Is anyone aware whether Israel did indeed lift the ban on foreigners entering the country today (even with quarantine requirements remaining)?

Shabbat Shalom.

I read somewhere that in Israel people over the age of 67 are not allowed to leave their homes. Actually, I have driven about 30 kilometers to Kiryat Shemona on several occasions and plan to do so again tomorrow. Does anyone here know anything about this?

Thank you. I have a lovely holiday booked in early July. I think thats probably very unlikely, but trying to figure out whether I push it to late August or just throw in the towel.

Delta resuming daily flight on May 8.

So now we have:
May 1 - BA resuming LHR-TLV
May 8 - Delta resuming JFK-TLV
May 20 - United resuming twice daily EWR-TLV and daily SFO-TLV
June - Air canada resuming YYZ and YUL
So it seems the flight resumptions were a bit wishful thinking. According to Dans Deals https://www.dansdeals.com/points-tra...e-coronavirus/

BA is not resuming until May 31, Delta on June 5, and United's second EWR flight until October, and SFO until July.

Wizz Air however has resumed LTN-TLV flights as of yesterday.
