We would like to update you on solution to take COVID19 HUM on ELAL flights JFK/TLV.
In order to accept COVID19 HUM please contact the below forwarding agent.
This agent will be responsible to cut the MAWB, provide security checking, build up and deliver cargo to ELAL warehouse.
Charges for above handling service will be determined by I-Pack Express.

Please be advised that effective May 1, 2020 ELAL Air Freight rates for HUM will be increased to $2825 and calculated on “all in” basis.

According to the article - in the absence of international or bilateral regulations specifying the conditions of secure travel now, all the announcements of resuming flights are wishful thinking and ways of gauging market demand.
The prohibition on entry of foreigners into israel expires on May 1. But the quarantine requirement remains.

Interesting regarding resumption of flights by foreign airlines in the next few weeks before restrictions have been lifted.
Having had a quick look there are flights all the way to mid-July on Wizz to London and Vienna for around the 230 shekel mark rtn - certainly only essential travel in May but am surely tempted in booking a long weekend or two for 230nis in July for London or Vienna. Worse case I don't go should Corona persist. I am far more concerned about the so called second wave towards the end of the year (which may or not happen) - Summer seems like there will be a break.

United has suspended all international carriage of human remains.
