Do Wizz carry cargo? If so, it must be under a different company name or it must be for 3rd parties - couldn't find anything about cargo on their website?

Wizz air resuming LTN-TLV as of May 1. Also resuming VIE-TLV on May 1.
The irony is that the flights are dirt cheap - I priced out May3-May 10 on TLV-LTN round trip and it was 200 shekels. Unfortunately practically no one can take advantage of these low fares.

Don't forget -- you also get a 14 day free stay at the Dan Panorama in Tel Aviv.

Actually there are plenty who can, those who either have dual citizenship Israeli + any EU country or citizenship in one and long-term residence in the other. and while tourism might not pick up any time soon with the quarantine requirements in IL, it will at least allow some business travel to go on.

Dont rush to buy your tickets

https://www.calcalist.co.il/local/ar...811590,00.html

According to the article - in the absence of international or bilateral regulations specifying the conditions of secure travel now, all the announcements of resuming flights are wishful thinking and ways of gauging market demand.

The prohibition on entry of foreigners into israel expires on May 1. But the quarantine requirement remains.

Interesting regarding resumption of flights by foreign airlines in the next few weeks before restrictions have been lifted.

Having had a quick look there are flights all the way to mid-July on Wizz to London and Vienna for around the 230 shekel mark rtn - certainly only essential travel in May but am surely tempted in booking a long weekend or two for 230nis in July for London or Vienna. Worse case I don't go should Corona persist. I am far more concerned about the so called second wave towards the end of the year (which may or not happen) - Summer seems like there will be a break.

Condolences to you and your family.

United has suspended all international carriage of human remains.
