Boeing 737-800 retrofitting
I came across this pic of a 738: the plane has mood lights. Has LY started to retrofit their 738s? Thanks |

How is the new config? Are they recovering a lavatory in Y? |

I flew in one yesterday in C. When I walked in I was a bit confused since I have never seen this confit before. overall comfortable, has USB power, and overall it was nice. didnt get a chance to see the Y cabin, however the partition between C and Y was a bulkhead and not a curtain in the current 738 |
Do you happen to have any pics to share, or know the reg of the aircraft you flew on? If not the reg, the flight number would be great, too. Big improvement for LY!

Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures. The flight was LY302 from Manchester according to FlightStats the tail number was 4X-EKS |

I flew in Y yesterday in this new config. Was sitting in row 21.
The bulkhead is very strange. It basically leans back, so that the last row of C can recline. But at take off and landing they "straighten" it manually. Overall the cabin has a new feel. The new USB is a good addition, and besides row 21 they added a place to put your cell phone to watch movies |

Does anybody know if there is a timeline per each 738 to be refurbished? Also, it seems that the emergency exit seats are no longer rows 44 and 45 on the refurbished a/c. Can anybody confirm?

The majority of the 738s fleet have now been refurbished with new seats, USB and Electric ports. I've heard good reviews re the Biz seats, and that they are now better than those on the 739s.
