Big difference between Elal Website and OTA prices

We are looking to go to Israel in the next couple of weeks on short notice.. waiting for a baby to arrive.. and seeing really large differences from Toronto to tlv on El vs Travelocity or expedia..literally half the price of El Al. This is in J ..on the bnw 787. 2 questions..is this usual and any concerns with El al honoring the price. We will probably have 3 to 4 day notice to purchase and go so trying to find the best pricing on any route. We are ORD based ONEWORLD normally but are open to positioning and other alliances given our constraints. Any and all advice welcome.

You won't have any issues with LY honouring the price that you find on the OTA sites.
These are negotiated / bulk rates that the OTA's have negotiated with LY.

I booked 3 trips to Prague & Budapest for work recently. I used these guys: https://www.onetravel.com/ & found that the price they charged Vs what was available on the LY website was around 12% lower.

Mazal Tov & good luck!

I'm sure a Mazal Tov is due by now!

What did you end up doing with regards to your travel plans?

How's the little guy / gal?
