LY Premium Economy With Status Match Vs UA 1K
Wife is 1K on UA - flies 8-10x per year TLV-EWR for work. Corporate policy allows premium economy on LY which I hear is pretty nice.
Question is: should she status match to LY and fly Premium Economy from now on or stick it out with UA given their FF program is a lot better. Will she be TP on LY with that many flights in that class? Thoughts from you frequent TLV-NYC flyers out there? |
What is the price of the ticket?
With the new rules the price of the ticket and not the booking class counts. Does she have flycard premium? (It will give her 20% more points) I think she will be PL and not TPL. LY premium is better than UA E+ Also from some premium classes she can upgrade to C |
You do realize that from the end of the month all UA flights to TLV will also have premium economy? This is worth considering. |

Agree PL is the new GL, and GL is more like OW Sapphire (Silver). |
