Don't worry: They'll figure out a way to screw it up...

For EL AL, nostalgia is being on time? (נצא בזמן) :p

much more important that they get more 787s on property quickly, than how they paint them.

BEtter nostalgic paint than ancient planes...

I honestly don't get the excitement, and in what way would this be such a win for them?

With all of the noise they made out of getting 787 10 years late no chance they are going to repaint one of them to the classic livery.

who told you they are going to repaint a 787?
actually, I think they will receive a brand new 787 with the old livery painted on it.
I just hope it won’t be just the tail which will wear the old livery. You never know with LY... lol

Yes, popular in the 70s when ElAl was a State owned airline and something to be proud of.

No offence, but painting a couple of aircrafts with the old livery might get a few LY enthusiasts like you guys excited, but won't change the fact that they are a seriously messed up business at the moment, with a list of serious issues as long as my arm.

I know this, but let’s be optimistic from a passenger point of view: after 10 years, they are finally receiving brand new wide bodies with state of the art interior, and the oldest a/c are finally exiting the fleet.
