777/747 Economy Plus or 787 Economy

TLV-NYC : 787 Premium economy is sold as a separate class of service and platinum don't have free access to these seats. 747/777 have economy plus seats (not great but still a little better than economy). What would you chose : 777/747 economy plus or 787 economy?
Taking into account comfort, chances of upgrade to business/premium economy, etc...
Thanks !

I'll take the LY 747/777 in any class over the same class on the LY 787. Even in Business.
787 Economy is HORRID
787 Premium Economy is not worth the money, except in unusual cases....
787 Business is like an MRI exam that lasts 10 hours
HUGE disappointment. The only thing good about the 787 is the AVOD....so just bring your own media conumption device to the 747/777 flight.

I didn't fly LY for some years but I would have thought that PE on any aircraft should be better than Y, especially on a long flight. Perhaps LatusElAl could clarify what are the 'unusual cases', in which PE on the 787 is better.
