I recently flew via UP to Prague and back. I didn't pay attention to the class of ticket when booking. Going to Prague I was in Class O and coming home I was in class U. For the O class leg I got 22 points but for the U class leg with a preferred seat I got 0 points. I have no clue what I did to put myself in class U. Can anyone clue me in?

?Did you buy the ticket from the website
If yes it gives you the cheapest economy fare available and some of the cheap UP fares do not earn points.
Getting a preferred seat doesn't change the points.
