Any way of upgrading to Biz??
 

Have a flight booked and want to upgrade me + wife + lap child to C. The ticket is el cheapo, so points are not an options. No option to bid on an upgrade - guessing because it's el cheapo as well.

I know I can upgrade on board for $800/each, but I'd rather upgrade/confirm in advance, and wondering if anyone knows how, or even if I can somehow "force" the system to allow me to bid? I'm fine with a cash upgrade, just as long as it's in advance (guarantee seats together and also not deal with upgrading while dealing with a baby)

I would suggest calling LY to check the cost of making the change to the ticket now...
