What's With LY8?
 

My father-in-law says he was delayed a few hours.

At 00:59 this morning Israel time, he said that they should be taking off in 15 minutes, after having been delayed around 5 hours.

I went online to see which flight he was on so I could track it.

LY's site claims that LY8 departed yesterday at 18:51, meaning 01:51 Israel time and that it's estimated to arrive at 12:29, which could indicate that that's the flight he's on. However, it doesn't show a scheduled departure time, just the actual. Anyone know what it is?

I then went to FlightAware to see if it included a scheduled departure. There, it had 2 separate listings for LY8 for December 11, 2014.

The current one, it claims departed at 21:46 and not 18:51, and that it's not scheduled to arrive until 14:12. At first I thought that LY may have counted departure from the gate and FlightAware counted liftoff, but even so, they should have similar arrival times - not an arrival on FlightAware nearly 2 hours later!

Furthermore, there's another LY8 listed on FlightAware for December 11, 2014, this one it claims already landed though and departed at a different time.

Can anyone help with this?! Most important here is figuring out his arrival time. The confusion between the different sites is secondary at this point, at least until after Shabbat.
