Empty planes to/From TLV?
 

I have flown on AZ, LH, PG and TK all this year to/from TLV and with the exception of the FRA to TLV flight at about 80%, all the flights were 100% full. Anyone seen an empty flight going anywhere?

All these flights being added and it seems there is still a shortage of capacity. Just an observation.

Until this past summer, I only flew LY to/from TLV and I have never been on an LY flight from TLV that was under 95 percent capacity. My Lufthansa A340 from TLV in July was at capacity.

Going to TLV, just about every LY flight I have taken was at or near capacity. Same thing with the United flight I took this past summer from EWR to TLV. One exception was a few years ago I went to Israel twice in one summer. Both times were on LY 004 from JFK which left around 1030AM and half empty. First times I ever felt bad paying for "C" when I could easily have had a whole 744 row in Y to myself.

btw I was once on a flight from TLV - YYZ on יום העצמאות & there was only 30 people on board.

yeah well, Israel is the place to be on יום העצמאות!
I was amazingly able to find R space TLV-EWR on the day of erev pesach this year.. (on CO85).. small miracles..
