help with ELAL cancelled flights

Need some guidance. I am booked on an AA tickets biz class ticket on miles through an EL AL codeshare onthe ELAL flight leaving EWR on Tuesday afternoon. For those that have knowledge of ELAL flights---if the Hurricane comes through East coast as planned- will the flight be delayed over night or just cancelled? Will the incoming flight from Tel Aviv be delayed? Any info is very welcome about EL AL practices. Booked this 330 days ago.

Hmm..I dont think anyone is really sure as its too early to tell. It could be that a safety percussion will take place and EWR cancels all the flights in and out of the airport. I would advise at seeing how things are on sunday, and perhaps calling AAdvantage travel awards program number to see what your options are or posting in that forum.

Flights could be cancelled if the airport closes. BUT they are cancelled for the time they are scheduled. The flight itself should NOT disappear. LY028 on Oct. 30th, WILL fly, it just may not fly on the 30th or at its' scheduled time. Totally eliminating that flight would cause huge number of passengers to have to fly on other flights. Since there is only one flight a day involving Newark, I find it unlikely it would vanish completely.
